Encounter College Conference

In 2024, after a multiyear hiatus since 2019, Pastor James received a clear word from the Lord to bring back our annual college retreat. The direction was simple but unmistakable: God wanted to encounter this generation. From that word, Encounter College Retreat was born.

We know God isn't limited to a weekend retreat. But we also know how easy it is to lose sight of Him in the noise of everyday life, the pace of school, work, and everything else pulling at our attention. So we carve out this time on purpose, not because He's absent elsewhere, but because of how quickly we can lose focus and drift away from His will.

What began as a step of obedience became something our students looked forward to every year, a place to slow down and turn their hearts fully toward the Lord. Year after year, He has encountered His people, and students have walked away marked by God, carrying that encounter back into their everyday lives long after the weekend ended.

Now, as we prepare for our third year, we're shifting gears, renaming this gathering Encounter Conference and hosting it right here at home. As we keep God at the center of everything we do, we believe this season calls us to build upon and draw from the depths of the spiritual wells already present at our very own Training Center. We're not chasing routine or emotional highs, we're following the Lord's direction with obedience, going deeper into the place He has already given us.
